Schaumburg Firefighters Annual Burn Center Softball Tourney

Each year, the Schaumburg Professional Firefighters Association hosts a one-day charity 16” softball tournament and raise tens of thousands of dollars for the Loyola Burn Center for Children.  FVB, with the guidance of FVB member and retired Schaumburg Firefighter Randy McCafferty, fully support this event through FVB’s Circle of Love Charity arm.

Saturday, Sept 18th: It starts with a free breakfast at 6:45am at Maxfield's Restaurant (NW corner Plum Grove and Schaumburg Rd) in Schaumburg.

There are two field locations:

Olympic Park (five fields, 9:00am start)…Schaumburg and Martingale Rd.

Campinelli Park (three fields, 8:30am start)…1150 W. Weathersfield Way.

Bring 1-2 uniforms/FVB t-shirts and wear shorts and comfortable shoes.  There will be unlimited FREE food, drink and fun.  There are also silent auction tables, raffles and other sports related items for sale.  Remember, its 16" softball.  We usually work 2 man or 3 man games.  We have a mini-swamp set up with tables and a canopy.
